Working Principle The FABON Sawdust Separator works on the combined principles of air classification and mechanical screening. Material Feeding: Mixed wood particles from a crusher or hammer mill are fed through a controlled inlet hopper. Air Flow Separation: A high-speed air blower and cyclone system create a controlled airflow where lighter sawdust particles are lifted and separated from heavier wood chips. Collection: The lighter fraction (fine sawdust) is directed to the cyclone collector and bag filter, while the heavier fraction (wood chips or oversized particles) is discharged separately for reuse. This process achieves more than 95% separation efficiency and produces sawdust with a consistent particle size suitable for pelletizing, briquetting, and drying applications.
